• Weld-on sight glass fittings for the observation of the internals of pressure, silos, gear-trains, seprators, pipelines, etc.

• Pressure: 10 bar or 16 bar, depending on size, higher pressure rating on request). For temperature rating (depending on material selection)
• Vacuum

Operating temperature

• max. 280°C -  Borosilicatglas DIN7080
• max. 150°C - Natron-Kalk-Glas DIN8902
• max. 500°C - Quarzglas               

• After welding baseflange onto or into vessel wall, seals, glass disc and flange are placed together in the order shown. Then the nuts (in case of studded base flange) and washers are progressively tightened, always working on diametrically opposted pairs of nuts at time. Tightening torque values are given in table on overleaf. Ohter information can be taken from DIN28120.
